Valorant now exists on three platforms — PC, console (PS5/Xbox), and Mobile — and all three use the same visual rank ladder. What’s different is whether your progress carries over between them.
Console ranks (PS5, Xbox): same ladder, separate progress
Console Competitive uses the identical 9-tier, 25-rank system covered in Valorant Ranks in Order — Iron through Radiant, same divisions, same RR-based promotion. What changes is the pool you’re ranked against:
- PC and console ranked queues are fully separate. Your PC rank and your console rank are tracked independently, even on the same Riot account — it’s entirely normal to be Platinum on PC and Ascendant on console (or the reverse).
- No crossplay in ranked. Console players queue against other console players; PC players queue against other PC players. Crossplay exists in some non-ranked modes, but Competitive keeps the pools apart, largely because of aim-assist balancing between controller and mouse/keyboard input.
- The rank ladder itself is unchanged — there’s no console-specific cap that blocks you from reaching Immortal or Radiant. A separate top-500 leaderboard exists per console region, the same way it does on PC.
Mobile ranks: same tiers, still a limited release
Valorant Mobile includes Ranked alongside Unrated, Deathmatch, Escalation, and other modes, using the same Iron-to-Radiant tier names as PC and console. The catch is availability: as of 2026, Valorant Mobile has only launched in China (since August 2025). Riot has talked about a broader rollout but hasn’t published a global release date, so if you’re searching for “Valorant Mobile ranks” outside that region, the mode isn’t accessible yet — there’s no beta sign-up live for most of the world.
Because of that limited release, treat Mobile ranked progress, MMR, and rewards as separate from PC/console until Riot confirms official cross-progression rules for a global launch — nothing has been announced publicly about carrying rank or cosmetics between Mobile and the other platforms.
