Hush is Valorant’s new Duelist, joining the roster mid-Act with patch 13.09 — live October 27, 2026 on NA, Brazil and LatAm servers, and October 28 elsewhere. Riot officially revealed her at the Valorant Champions 2026 grand final in Shanghai. Her whole identity is telekinesis: instead of dashing onto site herself like other Duelists, she moves you — pulling enemies out of position, bending a flash toward her crosshair, and steering her ultimate like a drone.
Hush’s ability kit
- Telekinesis (Passive): Hush can pick up weapons and the Spike, and interact with map switches, from range — roughly 25–30 metres, far beyond any other agent’s reach by hand. That changes post-plant math: a Spike sitting in the open no longer always costs a body to touch.
- Flow [C]: Hush drops an anchor and propels herself toward it after a short delay. Used while airborne, she briefly levitates before launching — a repositioning tool, not a Jett-style dash.
- Flashbulb [Q]: A flash grenade she can throw immediately, or prep and aim toward her crosshair before detonating. Reactivating triggers the flash early. Because the flash bends after the throw, defenders can’t rely on memorised turn timings alone.
- Displacement [E] (Signature): Thrown or prepped like Flashbulb. On detonation it pulls all nearby players toward its centre — anyone dragged into a surface or another player is concussed. It refreshes every two kills, so it is the kit’s win condition in entry fights.
- Suspension [X] (Ultimate): Hush sends out an orb she steers with her crosshair. Reactivating or firing again detonates it, levitating every player caught in the blast radius.
Exact ability costs are set out in the official patch notes; treat any pre-launch numbers floating around as provisional until Riot’s notes confirm them.
How to unlock Hush
Hush can be unlocked through the Agent Recruitment Event by earning 200,000 XP for a free unlock, or purchased outright for 10,000 Kingdom Credits or 1,000 Valorant Points. As with every new agent, expect instalock chaos for the first two weeks — if you want to learn her properly, the Range and custom lobbies beat ranked for your first sessions.
What Hush means for ranked play
The important part for competitive players: patch 13.09 makes no ranked-system changes. Placements, RR gains and losses, rank distribution and the map pool are all unchanged — Hush is a roster addition, not a ranked overhaul. Act 6’s rules still apply: returning players need only one placement match, and the Act is projected to end January 6, 2027. See our ranks in order guide and placements and resets guide for the current Act 6 picture.
What does change is the ranked experience around her:
- Duelist mains: your first sessions should be about Displacement collisions, not the dash. The pull concuss only pays off if you know map geometry — where a dragged enemy hits a wall. Learn that before taking her into Competitive.
- Site anchors: holding tight to choke walls is exactly what Displacement punishes. Play a step off the geometry with a fallback angle, and respect a flash that can bend toward you after the throw.
- IGLs: plan for instalock chaos in the first two weeks and keep a flex pick ready. A Hush entry creates kills for teammates even when she whiffs her own fight, because Displacement moves defenders into the open.

One note on the wider patch: leaked balance changes (including a Clove nerf and a Warden buff) were circulating before launch but are not part of the confirmed patch notes at the time of writing, so they are not covered here. If Riot confirms them, this guide will be updated.
